Her story
Small and stubborn. Sixteen centimetres that cost as much work as thirty, because wool in a tight space has to be stabbed a thousand times more before it holds. The prickling is not a figure of speech: loose fibre was left at the tips on purpose, not quite finished off, and you feel it when you pick her up. It could have been smoothed down. We decided against it.
