Her story
She has real pockets, sewn by hand with cotton thread, and that was the slow work of the week: felted wool does not forgive a crooked stitch. They were made with the idea that they would stay empty. They arrived full anyway. Nobody has looked inside, partly out of respect and partly because the answer would spoil the question.
